Capital Campaign for the CHRISTUS Health System Cancer Center

As cancer diagnoses continue to rise across Texas and the East Texas region, the CHRISTUS Health System recognized the urgent need for a dedicated cancer facility close to home. The answer was a new 35,000 square-foot cancer center located on the NorthPark medical campus in Longview, Texas. As part of the launch of the $3 million capital campaign, Encore was engaged to develop and produce two key assets – a compelling fundraising video and a multi-panel print brochure. 

The interview-based video featured the CHRISTUS CEO & Ministry President, along with the Physician VP of Operations and a representative from the Foundation. Together, they highlighted the center’s vision, design, and community impact. Additional coverage footage was shot specifically for this video, and detailed architectural renderings were used to a convey a sense of what the future facility would look like. The graphic look of the video incorporated the CHRISTUS Health System’s brand guidelines.

To deliver the campaign video directly to prospective donors, Encore created a customized promotional card that becomes a built-in video player to make the viewer’s experience more personal and impactful.

Complementing the video, a 4-panel brochure featuring details about the new cancer center and its capabilities and amenities was also written and designed by the Encore creative team.
